BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
Bossier police arrested six people in a prostitution sting Thursday night at a Bossier City Hotel.
According to the Bossier City Police Department, the operation was conducted with the assistance of the Shreveport Police Department and involved officers working undercover posing as prostitutes and as persons soliciting prostitution.
Among those arrested was Joshua K. Baker, 27, of Houston, Texas. He was booked on charges of human trafficking and resisting with force. An investigation found Baker transported two suspected prostitutes to multiple cities in Texas and Louisiana for the purpose of having them perform sex for money. He also fought with officers as they attempted to place him in custody.
The following individuals were also arrested in the operation: • Jeffery G. Chesshir, 48, of Taylor, AR – soliciting for prostitutes. • John P. Stephenson Jr., 51, of Lake Charles, LA - soliciting for prostitutes. • Danny R. Evans, 48, of Shreveport, LA -soliciting for prostitutes. • Matthew Smith Jr., 42, of Longview, TX - soliciting for prostitutes. • Enedriaa Flowers, 19, of San Antonio, TX - prostitution.
